Jyon dhur ton dhanwanan pichchhe aj tak lagge chor rahe; Sant janan de pichchhe nindak dhur ton pande shor rahe. Sun sun nindya tohmat tahne sant magar begaur rahe; Sant janan di mehfal andar chalde haq de daur rahe. Lakh lakh zor laga laye nindak par na gal nun tok sake; Kahe avtar guru poore da rasta na oh rok sake. |

Just as robbers have always been chasing the rich people; Likewise, critics have always been maligning the saints. But the saints ignored the slanderous accusations and taunts; In the congregation of saints, the nectar of truth continued to be served. The critics, in spite of their countless efforts, could not contradict the world of the True Master; Avrat says, they could not obstruct the path of the perfect True Master. |
Meaning
Just like robbers have always chased the rich; similarly, wicked insulters have always been criticizing the saints. But the saints gave no attention to their insults, finger pointing and mocking. In the congregation of saints, the Truth has been told and shared constantly. The insulters in spite their countless efforts, could not interrupt the message of Truth. Avtar says, they could never obstruct the path of the perfect True Master.
